ARIZONA'S PAST

Arizona Talks

A historic synopsis brings to life Arizona's diverse past from the prehistoric time to the present. A slide presentation will help you to visualize the Grand Canyon State's rich and wild past. This program will explain how Arizona became last of the 48 contiguous states to join the Union. I will tell you about the culture of some of our Arizona Native American communities and will welcome an optional question and answer period following the presentation.

A photo slide presentation will show you how prehistoric people lived and thrived in the Sonoran Desert. These nomadic people, who existed in the desert for thousands of years, had to follow the food source to survive.  I will tell you about some of the plants that were used for food, fiber and/or paint; which plants gave shelter and which were used medicinally.

The presentation can be given on property as a walk, provided native plants are on the premises.
